OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2012. At press conference Culture Minsiter Boris Focsa briefed that theproject aims to equip rurla and urban libararies with computers and connect them to Internet.

Till the end of 2013 the Foundation will provide 300 computers for 60 libraries of Moldova. The project will last two years. At its pilot stage public libraries in Drochia, Telenesti, Calaras, Hincest, Cahul and Taraclia will be turned into Internet centres.

The internet access will be provided by the national fixed communication operator and local authorities will have to modernize the libraries.

Besides in the framework of Novateka, training centres for librarians will be opened in 6 towns of Moldova.
