Signing Ceremony of CCCC-Fujian Strategic Cooperation Held
OREANDA-NEWS. November 07, 2012. The signing ceremony of CCCC-Fujian strategic cooperation agreement and the investment agreement on Mawei Bridge and Wulong River channel took place in Fuzhou, reported the press-centre of CCCC.
Under the agreement, CCCC forged a strategic partnership with the Fujian Provincial Government, to carry out in-depth cooperation in fields including urban road, bridge, rail transit, tunnel, highway, integrated urban development, equipment manufacturing and the marine heavy industry. Efforts will be made to press ahead with Mawei Bridge and Wulong River channel in the near term.
By September 2012, CCCC had had total assets of 423.2 billion yuan, been honored as an A-rated enterprise as a result of the business assessment by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) for the 7th consecutive year and been listed among the “ten key enterprises for contact under the international business strategy of central enterprises” determined by SASAC. For a long time, CCCC has paid close attention to the development of Fujian and Haixi.
In 2011, CCCC established Haixi Regional Headquarters in Xiamen to comprehensively serve the construction and development of Haixi and Fujian, built an array of domestic leading projects in Fujian, and was involved in designing and constructing over 400 key provincial and municipal infrastructural projects, including Haicang Bridge, Xiangan Tunnel, Jimei Bridge, Pingtan Bridge, Xiamen BRT, Xiamen-Zhangzhou Cross-Sea Bridge, Luozhou Bridge, Quanzhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge, land reclamation in Shuangyu Island, Zhangzhou and land reclamation in Meizhou Bay, with a total contract value of over 70 billion yuan.
These projects have created over 40,000 jobs, making positive contributions to promoting Fujian’s regional economic development. CCCC has taken Fujian as a key area for investment, and has registered 27 companies in Fujian with a total of over 6,000 employees. The total investment of CCCC’s ongoing and upcoming projects in Fujian will top 40 billion yuan.
