OREANDA-NEWS. November 7, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has paid an insurance indemnity of RUB 5 m to the parish of Kosma and Damian Church of the Russian Orthodox Church Penza Eparchy.

On July 18, 2012, a lightning stroke resulted in lighting up of a wooden church located in the village of Teshnyar in Sosnovoborsky District of Penza Region. The fire fully destroyed the church building, as well as the church plate and an iconostasis inside it.

The church was built in 1896 upon the project of an architect A. E. Erenberg. In 1983, the church was conferred the status of the regional monument of history and culture.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has paid the full coverage amount of RUB 5 m.
