OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2013. Expert RA, a Russian leading rating agency, reconfirms the quality of SB Bank's risk managment at the level of A.rm as High Level of Risk Management. Back in the end of 2011, the Bank's risk management was assigned the highest rating based on the agency's assessment scale.

Among most notable strengths outlined by the agency experts are independent functioning of risk management service and sales division, a regular stress-testing for defining the level of key risks that are inherent to the Bank's activities as well as a wide range of market risk monitoring procedures, including VaR analysis to measure currency and equity risks and duration alaysis to measure interest rate risk. A positive evaluation was also given to a well-balanced operating loss database management, a well-organised going concern pattern and a well-documented code of professional ethics.

It is to be recalled that in late December 2012 the Expert Ra agency reconfirmed SB Bank's credit rating at the level of A+ (Very High Level of Creditworthiness), the rating carrying a stable outlook.
