OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2013. Under the Technical Transformation Project for 1800mm stainless-steel furnace roll mill of Shandong Taishan Iron & Steel Group, the roll mills of F1, F2 and F3 were pushed and fixed in place.

The works was contracted by the 19th China Metallurgical Construction Group (19MCC Group). This milestone symbolizes that, the Packaged Technology for Traction of Three Rolling Mill, which was developed by 19MCC Group for the first time in the world with completely independent intellectual property rights, was successfully put into application.

Under the aforesaid project, technical upgrading and transformation work is to be undertaken for the existing hot-role stainless-steel rolling line (with an annual output of 600,000 tons). On the existing line, three refinishers are added to the existing line, the current laminar cooling system is upgraded into a reinforced one, a new recoiling machine is equipped, three transportation lines are added and the relevant systems are expanded. After the transformation, the annual output will be increased from 600,000 tons to 1.8 million tons, and the size and the product precision will be further enhanced.

Through the Packaged Technology for Traction as mentioned above, the main body and pipelines of three refinishers will be installed at first, and then be pushed onto the newly constructed foundation for technical process such as commissioning. This process will greatly shorten the dwell time, reduce the technical transformation investment, and thus create remarkable economic benefits in terms of innovation, benefit and efficiency improvement, as well as savings and environment .protection At present, six items of technologies have been submitted for patent approval, and moreover, applications are being submitted for the other 11 items of technologies.
