OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2013. In January-April, 2013 it was registered 2406 new enterprises in Moldova, 8.9% up as compared with January-April, 2012.

According to the State Registration Chamber of Moldova, it was registered 574 enterprises in January, 627 in February, 596 in March, and 609 in April. 60% of enterprises were registered in Chisinau. As of April 1, 2013 the state register of legal entities has contained information about 162.64 thousand companies of which 51% (82.07 thousand) are limited liability companies, 40% (65.62 thousand) are individual enterprises and 3% (4.68 thousand) are stock associations.

Close to 54% of enterprises registered in Moldova are wholesalers and retailers, 12% are processing companies; 6% are agricultural ones, 5% are transport, 3% are real estate; 3% are running hotel business and 3% are building companies.
