OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero Airlines would like to communicate the following information in respect of the situation in Egypt.

Transaero carries out flights to Egypt from 14 cities of the Russian Federation. The recommendations of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to refrain from any travel to Egypt are not legal grounds to refuse passengers who have already purchased their tickets transportation to this country since no evacuation from Egypt has been officially announced and the airports of Hurghada and Sharm-El-Sheikh have been functioning as normal.

However Transaero is ready to refund the ticket price with no penalties charged to those passengers who would like to cancel their flight to Egypt if they have bought tickets on the official web-site of the airline, at the Transaero sales offices or from the company's agents.

Moreover Transaero is ready to transport its passengers back from Egypt on its scheduled flights notwithstanding the departure date on the tickets if there are available seats on board the aircraft.

At present Transaero carries out all flights between Russia and Egypt in accordance with the schedule.
