German Mechanical and Plant Engineers' Association (German Engineering Federation, or VDMA) is one of Germany's major industry associations. VDMA represents over 3,100 member companies in the engineering industry. For German machinery manufactures Russia's car market is the most attractive sales market in Eastern Europe and the world's fourth largest export market in terms of total volume of transaction. More than 150 member companies of the VDMA have already opened their representative offices in Moscow and other regions of Russia.
