OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2013. As as informed in the General State Tax Inspectorate, from August 19 to August 25 the tax employees visited transport companies to combat the illegal traffic.

As a result, 148 violations: 38 cases of transporting passengers without tickets and 110 cases of traffic without registration in the state bodies were revealed. Thus, the MIF officers have withdrawn two vehicles and GSTI employees have imposed fines in the amount of 760.7 thousand lei.

The inspections were made within the framework of the campaign under the slogan "Tax Service helps honest transporters”. Promotion runs from August 19 to September 19 in order to increase the level of voluntary payment of taxes among businesses operating in the transport sector.
