OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2014. In November the company produced and offloaded its 51 standard oil cargo since the beginning of the year, having produced 35.7 million barrels starting from the beginning of 2014.

The company managed to deliver these results thanks to the expertise of the personnel, ongoing optimisation of the entire production chain from well to pipeline and to the oil export terminal, and implementation of the Operational Excellence programme. Successful implementation of a number of subsurface and well engineering activities, including optimising production envelopes for individual wells, played an extremely significant role in achieving this milestone. Most importantly, this result was delivered under strict compliance with all safety standards.

Several additional upside oil cargoes are scheduled for shipping before the end of December.

For reference: one standard oil cargo equals 700 000 barrels or 111 000 quibic metres of oil. The tankers with Sakhalin-2 oil cargoes have visited 33 ports in nine countries around the world. The oil customers are refiners and energy companies in Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, USA, Philippines and Thailand.
