OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2014. The case of Bank Vozrozhdenie took the second place on VII international IR-cases contest arranged by Financial Communications and Investor Relations Association in cooperation with international group Interfax and Moscow Exchange.

The cases were assessed on four key criteria: novelty, efficiency, methodological value and experts’ opinion. According to the competition terms, IR-case shall describe a true story of original investor relations expertise in Russian and international companies. It shall analyse the situation and describe the steps taken by the IR-team to resolve it. The efficiency of the measures taken shall be reflected in their effect on the share price (where suitable), on perception of the company as well as on its investment attractiveness for the investment community.

Bank Vozrozhdenie has prepared a case on launching the first in Russia banking app for investors “Vbank IR” that helps to immediately alert shareholders, investors and analysts about recent financial and corporate events. The app offers investors live access to the latest corporate news, financial reports, videos, earnings presentations and webcasts, live share price data, interactive share price charts, and allows to create customized reports with the interactive analyst tool. This product allowed enhancing the bank’s position in the eyes of investor’s society by rising transparency and interactivity.

The relevance of the new communication channel was endorsed by results of the survey conducted amongst the bank’s sell-side analysts and key investors in December 2014: 90% of the respondents said that they used mobile devices for their work and every second one had already downloaded and used “Vbank IR” app. According to Institutional Investor’s research issued this year, 83% of foreign investors rely on mobile when it comes to their work and 68% of them look at investor-related content throughout the day on their mobile devices.
