OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2015. The City of Atlanta’s Department of Aviation is seeking proposals from firms to develop a high-end hotel facility, office complex, travel plaza and mixed-use development (FC-7919, Hotel, Travel Plaza & Mix-Use Development) at Hartsfield-Jackson.

 The “Airport City” concept would be a first-of-its-kind type of project in the United States and will include a four-star iconic hotel with 300 to 400 rooms attached to the domestic terminal or within walking distance.

Proposals are due before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2015.
