OREANDA-NEWS. For a total of 12 months in 2014, Donavia Airline has transported 1 736.2 thousand passengers which is 28.3% higher in comparison with results of 2013. Thus, the growth of transportation volume of this key aviation carrier of the Southern part of Russia has exceed the industry average value three times.

Passenger turnover in 2014 reached 2 448.0 million passengers per km, which exceeds the value for the same period in 2013 by 22.3%. Donavia Airline has also increased the value for cargo and mail delivery. Company aircrafts have transported 2 391.4 tons which is 3.4% higher than the previous year value.

Value growth rates of passenger turnover and number of carried passengers for Donavia was the second among the Russian aviation market leaders. Such significant results achievement became possible due to an increase of the aircraft fleet operation results, new destinations arrangement from airports in the Southern part of Russia, which confirms the successful development strategy within the activities of Aeroflot Group of Companies.
