He stressed that to cover the events in Ukraine are coming newspersons from all over the world, in particular, from Moscow and Warsaw.

The Prime Minister appealed to the Minister of Information Policy Yurii Stets: "It must protect our and their interests, so in Kyiv there should be set up a permanent news bureau".

Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed that Ukraine is now fighting against "Goebbels’ propaganda on behalf of Vladimir Putin." Russia invests in the propaganda "billions of dollars, and this embraces a number of countries”:" As Russia and Vladimir Putin realized that among the core weapons in this hybrid war is information propaganda".

However, according to the Prime Minister, he is concerned about the level of coverage of Ukrainian events in the world media: "While we are facing military operations every day, Ukraine is disappearing from the world media space."

Arseniy Yatsenyuk also instructed the Ministry of Information Policy to create an access map of Ukrainian radio and TV stations on the territory temporarily controlled by the Russian terrorists. He recalled that the Government had allocated USD1.7 million on the installation of transmitters that would allow to increase coverage in these areas: "Together with our intelligence agencies work out the possibility of additional information sharing to the citizens of Ukraine who are hostages of Vladimir Putin and are in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, which are currently not under the control of Ukraine, including via the Internet."
