Tele2 leaves Beeline
OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has ported the Moscow staff’s numbers from Beeline to its own network under MNP.
Prior to the Moscow launch, employees of the Tele2 HQ and the Moscow office used Beeline SIMs. Corporate numbers of the Tele2 personnel were ported under the MNP procedure – all in all over 500 subscribers.
The HQ and the Moscow office count over 900 employees, some of them having used other operators’ services before the Tele2 launch in the capital. Now all employees have Tele2 SIMs and a corporate tariff – activated both at their previously used numbers and new ones with the 977 prefix.
Roman Volodin, Chief Marketing and Product Officer at Tele2:
“We along with our subscribers have been looking forward to the Tele2 launch in Moscow Region. All our high-quality and affordable services are now available not only to Muscovites but also employees who have worked very hard to make Tele2 appear in Moscow. Connecting numbers to the Tele2 network will let us receive high-quality service and considerably cut expenses.”
In Moscow Region, Tele2 will connect new subscribers under MNP for free over six months after the network’s launch. In order to change an operator for Tele2 and retain previous phone number, one should visit the operator’s stores and fill in application to have a number ported.
