OREANDA-NEWS. French carmaker PSA Peugeot Citroen at the end of 2015 around the world sold 2.973 million vehicles, which is more by 1.2% compared to the 2014 year. Sales growth was recorded in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as in the Indo-Pacific region. In China, sales remained at the level of 2014.

In Russia, the sales of Peugeot and Citroen cars exceeded 10 thousand units, by showing a drop by more than 70%. As a result, the share of Russian sales of these brands was less than 1% of the global volume. According to the report "Dealer networks of automakers in the Russian Federation", prepared by the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", in our country, there are more than 100 authorized dealers by sales and service of cars of Peugeot and Citroen.

"At present, both French automakers are "at risk" zone, i.e. among those companies that because of the strong decline in sales may leave the Russian market", - said the spokesperson of the agency "AUTOSTAT", Azat Timerhanov.
