OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", in January of 2016 the volume of the market of new trucks in Russia was 2.8 thousand units, which is more by 40.6% than a year before.

The market leader is still Russian manufacturer KAMAZ, the share of which is 42% of the total volume. In quantitative terms, it corresponds to 1.2 thousand units – less by 24.6% than a year ago. In second place there is another domestic brand - GAZ, which sold 388 vehicles (-20.2%). The top- three leaders is closed by the Belarusian brand MAZ (187 units; -52.8%).

The first two lines of the model structure of the market are occupied by the cars produced at the Kama Automobile Plant - KAMAZ 4311 (309 units; -22.4%) and KAMAZ 6511 (285 units; -37.2%). The third position in the ranking is occupied by GAZ GAZON NEXT, the market volume of which in January was 185 units, which is more by almost 80% than the result of a year ago.
