OREANDA-NEWS The Solaris automobile plant has announced the temporary cessation of production of three models with a manual transmission. This is reported by the Telegram channel Mash.
We are talking about the production of the Solaris HC crossover, the Solaris KRS sedan and the KRX hatchback, which are analogues of the Hyundai Creta and Kia Rio (including the Rio X). Deliveries of new vehicles of these modifications to dealerships will resume no earlier than April 2026. This decision was made due to problems with the supply of necessary components.
Against this background, the cost of the remaining cars in the warehouses has already increased significantly — the price tag has increased from 300 thousand to half a million rubles. In particular, the Solaris KRS sedan (an analog of the Kia Rio) in the basic Comfort configuration with a 1.6-liter engine and a manual six-speed transmission is now estimated at 2.29 million rubles, which is 330 thousand more expensive. Before that, the car cost 1.96 million rubles.
Two versions of the Solaris KRX hatchback (Rio X) have also gone up in price. Comfort now costs 2.29 million rubles (330 thousand more expensive), and Luxe — 2.39 million rubles (410 thousand more). Solaris HC (Hyundai Creta) crossovers in Prime and Classic trim levels are offered for 2.39 million (an increase of 411 thousand) and 2.49 million (an increase of 491 thousand) rubles, respectively.
