OREANDA-NEWS The Moscow region produced 94.4 thousand tons of cheese in January-July 2025, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the region reports.

The volume of cheese and cottage cheese exports during this period increased by 22% in value terms compared to the same period in 2024 and reached 19.8 thousand tons.

In 2024, 173.6 thousand tons were produced, and the export of cheeses, cottage cheese and dairy products from the region amounted to 75.4 thousand tons, which is 12% more than in 2023. Cheese shipments showed particularly significant growth, with a 21.4% increase in 2024.

The stable positions of the Moscow Region in the domestic and foreign markets attest to the competitiveness of local producers.
