According to sources, sanitary control at the Dymovsk sausage factory took place in August. The experts took samples of sausage to check them in the laboratory. As a result, salmonella was found in the boneless pork ham from Miratorg, which is used as a raw material.

"More than two tons of the batch where the infected meat was found were moved to an external warehouse of the enterprise," the newspaper reports.

Previously, deadly listeria and salmonella were found in meat from the Metro hypermarket. Experts have identified them in the flesh of the thigh from farmed veal, which is sold under the brand name Metro Chef. The manufacturer is Filhe Property LLC. The infected products were found in the capital's hypermarket on Leningradskoye Highway. Listeria can cause sepsis and meningitis.
