OREANDA-NEWS  Chinese companies are interested in joining the liquefied natural gas (LNG) production project in Ust-Luga on the Baltic Sea, and the size of their possible share will be determined during the negotiation process, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks in the Kremlin on Thursday.

Answering the question about the share of Chinese companies that are interested in the Ust-Luga project, Novak said: "It's a matter of negotiation."
