OREANDA-NEWS   Pegasus Airlines deployed Russians at the airport right before boarding due to suspected fraud. This was reported by the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg in the Telegram channel.

The lawsuit was filed by Alexandra Dolgikh, Ekaterina and Alexander Slesarev. According to him, in October 2024, Alexander purchased tickets for three passengers on a flight from Turkish Dalaman to St. Petersburg with a transfer in Istanbul for 101 thousand rubles. On the day of departure, October 29, a company of vacationers arrived at the airport and received electronic boarding passes. However, they were informed at the front desk that the booking had been cancelled.

It later became clear that the reason was suspicion of fraud when paying for additional baggage. The Moscow District Court of St. Petersburg did not see any legal grounds for refusing boarding and approved the claim of the Russians. As a result, the airline paid an almost one million fine — 937.4 thousand rubles were recovered from it.

Earlier, the Russian airline S7 was ordered to pay 200 thousand rubles for mistreatment of a disabled person. Then the family did not get on the flight due to the delay of a special car for transporting people with limited mobility.
