OREANDA-NEWS  China is ready to raise the level of bilateral trade with Kazakhstan and strengthen cooperation in new areas, Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao said.

Wang Wentao held a meeting with Kazakh Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev in Beijing on Wednesday.

"China is ready to work with Kazakhstan to raise the level of bilateral trade, strengthen cooperation in new areas, and accelerate the development of new trade formats," the Chinese minister quoted the official website of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce as saying on Thursday.


Wang Wentao stressed that the volume of trade between China and Kazakhstan "has reached record levels," and the parties are actively developing cooperation in various fields, including environmentally friendly mining.
