OREANDA-NEWS  Colombian President Gustav Petro commented on the accusations of drug trafficking by his American counterpart Donald Trump, calling them a reflection of the "senile mind." He said this on the social network X.

"He [Trump] sees the real supporters of freedom as drug terrorists because we don't give him either coal or oil," the Colombian leader wrote.

He also noted that the American government consists of "greedy people outside the law," comparing them to "gold diggers and shooters from the deserts of the Wild West."

Earlier, Petro expressed his readiness to "take up arms" to protect the country from Trump amid his threats of invasion. "If they detain the president, whom a significant part of my people loves and respects, they will release the people's jaguar," the politician threatened.
