OREANDA-NEWS   The Iranian army will hold exercises on February 2-3 on the border with Iraq amid escalating tensions with the United States, Tasnim news agency reports, citing the mayor of the city of Qasr-Shirin, where the exercises will take place.

"Military exercises of the army of the Islamic Republic will be held in Qasr Shirin on Monday and Tuesday," the statement said.

It is specified that the population can hear the sounds of explosions that will be associated with the exercises.
