OREANDA-NEWS  Vnukovo Airport decided not to bid for an increase after Sheremetyevo was the first to put up an offer for a minimum of 66.1 billion, as it considered the price to be 72 billion high, the Vnukovo press service told RIA Novosti.

Vnukovo International Airport expressed its readiness to acquire Domodedovo assets by offering 66 billion rubles for them. However, after Sheremetyevo Airport was the first to put up its offer, we decided not to bid for an increase. We are not ready to pay 72 billion rubles, as we consider the price to be high," Vnukovo said.

The auction for the sale of Domodedovo airport was won by Sheremetyevo, offering 66.1 billion rubles at a starting price of 132.3 billion rubles, the organizer of the auction, PSB, said earlier on Thursday.
