Peskov answered a question about the organization of contact between Putin and Macron

OREANDA-NEWS At the moment, there are no specifics on the organization of a possible contact between the presidents of Russia and France, Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reports.
"At the moment, there are no specifics yet on the possible organization of contacts between Putin and Macron. I have nothing to tell you," the Kremlin representative replied to the relevant question.
Earlier, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrault said that European countries should be able to talk directly with Russia in order to defend their interests. He added that Paris has never ruled out the possibility of resuming direct dialogue with Moscow.
On January 31, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko noted that Macron's intention to hold a conversation with Putin should be conveyed not through public statements, but through professional channels.
