OREANDA-NEWS   In 2025, only 449 new Tesla electric vehicles were registered in Russia, which is 34 percent less than a year earlier. At that time, 680 cars were sold. Analyst Sergey Tselikov published such data in his Telegram channel.

For the American manufacturer, the Russian market share remains insignificant and is estimated at 0.03 percent of global sales, the expert noted.

Globally, the company has also seen a decline. The volume of production at Tesla plants decreased by 7 percent at the end of the year, amounting to 1.65 million units. The number of cars delivered to customers decreased by 9 percent, reaching 1.63 million.

At the same time, the company is successfully developing related areas. Total energy storage usage increased by 49 percent and reached 46.7 gigawatt-hours. The worldwide network of charging stations is actively expanding. By the end of December 2025, Tesla operated 1,553 charging locations, which had 8,182 Supercharger stations (77,682 connectors) installed.

In the near future, Tesla plans to update the model range. Serial production of the Semi electric truck and Cybercab robot taxi is expected to begin in the first half of 2026. Also this year, the company intends to introduce an updated version of the Tesla Roadster sports electric car.
