OREANDA-NEWS  The exchange price of silver accelerated its growth to 6% on Monday morning, updating the historical record above the level of $ 84 per troy ounce, according to trading data.

As of 9.19 a.m. Moscow time, the price of March silver futures on the New York Comex exchange rose by 6.16% to $ 84.225 per ounce, minutes earlier the quotes had updated the record, rising to $ 84.55.

At the same time, the price of the February gold futures increased by $82.24 relative to the previous close, or by 1.83%, to $4,583.14 per troy ounce.
