OREANDA-NEWS  Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to send a delegation to talks with Russia in Abu Dhabi so as not to anger US President Donald Trump. This is reported by the Financial Times (FT).

Zelensky's willingness to negotiate with Russia is partly due to a reluctance to anger Trump.

In addition, another reason is considered to be the fatigue of Ukrainians from the fighting.

Earlier, Zelensky announced that a new round of trilateral talks between Ukraine, Russia and the United States would be held this week (January 26 — February 1). He noted that during the trilateral talks held on January 23-24 in Abu Dhabi, issues necessary to end the conflict were discussed.
