OREANDA-NEWS Vladimir Zelensky rejected the opportunity to travel to Moscow for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He is quoted by RBC-Ukraine.

"Of course, it is impossible for me to meet with Putin in Moscow," he said.

Putin has repeatedly expressed his willingness to meet with Zelensky, which he refused.

In turn, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov explained that Zelensky was being invited to the capital for negotiations, not to accept surrender. Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov also pointed out that Moscow would ensure the safety of the head of the Kiev regime if he came to Russia.
