OREANDA-NEWS. The session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council held in the capital of Belarus Minsk finished. Among other documents, an agreement on Armenia’s accession to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) was signed. President Serzh Sargsyan thanked the heads of states once again for the political support of that process and assured that Armenia will show a high sense of responsibility towards its membership in the Eurasian Economic Union. The president expressed the hope that the heads of EEU member countries will facilitate the ratification of that agreement in their national parliaments till the end of this year so that Armenia starts working beginning January 1 next year.
