OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2008. A joint representative office of Finnish cities of Helsinki, Tampere and Kotka has opened In St. Petersburg. Basic spheres of economic cooperation between St. Petersburg and the Finnish cities will be transport and logistics, car industry and tourism.

The press-service of St. Petersburg Government’s Committee on external relations informs, the representations of the three Finnish cities will function on the basis of Helsinki Centre, which will receive a constant office in St. Petersburg in the autumn of 2009. Helsinki Centre will be supervised by an enterprise Helsinki Abroad Ltd Oy established by the capital of Finland.
