OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank and Lenta entered into a Strategic Partnership Agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. On behalf of Sberbank the document was signed by Maxim Poletaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank, and on behalf of Lenta – by Jan Dunning, CEO.

The Agreement envisages development of strategic cooperation between Sberbank and Lenta on providing high-quality, cutting edge banking service, Sberbank’s provision of financing to support the company’s operations, and implementation of modern banking technologies for managing financial resources and products.

The parties noted that the Agreement will serve as a solid foundation for mutually beneficial cooperation between Sberbank and Lenta – one of Russia’s largest retail chains – and help the company to operate more efficiently and complete significant retail trade projects.
