OREANDA-NEWS. SOGAZ Insurance Group was awarded a property insurance contract by Siberian Chemical Plant JSC (SKHK JSC). The total sum insured for the plant property is 95.6 billion RUB.

The coverage will include process and non-process buildings, overhead and cable power lines, utilities and separation equipment, i.e. gas centrifuges designed for uranium isotope separation. The insurance contract will be signed for one year.
SOGAZ was awarded the SKHK JSC property insurance contract based on the results of the restricted request for proposals with participation of other two insurance companies.
Siberian Chemical Plant JSC was established in 1949 and is a member of TVEL Fuel Company of Rosatom. The main assets of SKHK JSC include five nuclear material management plants and a TPP. One of the core areas of SKHK business is to satisfy the needs of nuclear power plants in uranium for nuclear fuel, and generation of heat and electrical power.
