OREANDA-NEWS The Russian government has extended the "Far Eastern Mortgage" at two percent to the Arctic zone, the Telegram channel of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.

The program itself was renamed the "Far Eastern and Arctic Mortgage", a resolution on this was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Teachers and doctors who have worked in the Arctic zone of Russia for at least five years, young spouses no older than 35 years, single parents raising a child under the age of 18 inclusive, Russians who have received land plots under the "Hectare" program and participants in regional labor mobility programs can become participants in the preferential mortgage program.

The maximum amount of a preferential loan under this mortgage program is six million rubles.
