The corresponding proposal was sent to the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Andrey Nikitin by the head of the State Duma Committee on the Development of Civil Society, issues of public and religious associations, Yana Lantratova. According to her, it is necessary to introduce soft regulatory measures to reduce the cost of flights during the holidays.
In the document, the politician drew attention to the problem of a sharp increase in ticket prices within the country, which is why citizens simply cannot travel around Russia. She stressed that it is necessary to exclude situations in which Russians find themselves in social isolation during public holidays.
Earlier, analysts of the Aviasales service named the most popular foreign holiday destinations for the New Year. Thailand, Uzbekistan and Turkey were the leaders.
