"The cost of a minimum set of products for Russians decreased by 2.4% in August 2026. The minimum set of meals per person today will cost an average of 7,962.5 rubles," the association estimated.
The cheapest grocery basket will cost in Mordovia - an average of 6.42 thousand rubles and in the Penza region - 6.61 thousand rubles. At the same time, the most expensive products are in Chukotka - an average of 21.3 thousand rubles and in the Kamchatka Territory - 13.54 thousand rubles.
