OREANDA-NEWS   The actual salary of employees in Russia in the third quarter increased by an average of 6.4 percent compared to the same period last year (up to 90.5 thousand rubles before taxes). The sanctions crisis forced employers to start a "salary race" in construction and logistics due to a shortage of personnel in these industries. This is stated in the HeadHunter study.

The second "sanctions" trend is more frequent encouragement of managers of managerial and expert level with bonuses and bonuses compared to top managers. Experts note that it is such specialists who bear the responsibility for overcoming the crisis.

The leaders in the growth of actual salaries in the third quarter were the construction and transport logistics sectors. During the year, salaries there soared by 10 and 9 percent, respectively. In monetary terms, employees in these areas received an average of 68.8 and 58.6 thousand rubles.

In the event of a protracted crisis in the next couple of years, state-owned companies and budget institutions will become the main employers, and the role of private business, especially small and medium-sized, will decrease, experts said earlier, predicting a shortage of workers and engineers.
