OREANDA-NEWS  During the period from June 23 to June 29, 2026, price growth in Russia slowed from 0.25 percent a week earlier to 0.22 percent. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development.

In the segment of food products, inflation changed from 0.16 percent to 0.18 percent, but separately in the segment of fruit and vegetable products it fell by half — from 1.45 percent to 0.7 percent.

Non-food products increased in price by 0.42 percent, which is lower than a week earlier (0.5 percent), and the observed services fell by 0.01 percent against a 0.06 percent increase in the previous period.

Cucumbers (5.66 percent), chicken eggs (2.1 percent) and tomatoes (1.77 percent) fell the most. Among the services, the largest drop was shown by a trip to the Black Sea coast of the Russian Federation (minus 2.12 percent).

Earlier, the Bank of Russia reported that the monthly increase in prices, excluding seasonality, in annual terms in May amounted to 1.8 percent. In April, the indicator reached 2.4 percent.

Meanwhile, in June, inflation in the eurozone unexpectedly slowed to 2.8 percent in annual terms, while most experts expected 3 percent.
