OREANDA-NEWS  The sluggishness of the lottery winner can lead to the fact that he will lose winnings amounting to more than 10 million pounds (one billion rubles). This is reported by The Sun.

An unknown lucky person purchased a lottery ticket in southeast London on October 4, 2025. According to the rules of the UK National Lottery, he had six months to present the ticket and receive the prize. That deadline expires at midnight on April 2, and he still hasn't shown up.

The lottery winner has a few hours left to claim the money. If he doesn't show up, the winnings will be donated to charity.

Lottery organizers said that cases when large prizes remain unclaimed are not so common.

Earlier, a resident of the Novosibirsk region won over 22 million rubles in the lottery and did not show up for the money. The Russian purchased three tickets for five consecutive runs.
