OREANDA-NEWS  The head offices of some foreign companies that have started the liquidation procedure have banned their branches in Russia from paying taxes, RBC reported, citing experts from the Business Solutions and Technologies consulting company.

According to the media, foreign firms decide to violate Russian legislation by refusing to pay taxes, despite the fact that many Western states, for example, the United States, have allowed companies to fulfill tax obligations, despite sanctions against the Russian Ministry of Finance. At the same time, the management of legal entities registered in the country may face criminal liability for non-payment of taxes."We have received numerous requests from foreign clients, what will happen if they stop paying taxes and filing declarations," said Anton Zykov, partner of the DRT, head of the tax dispute resolution group.
