OREANDA-NEWS Russian Daniil Medvedev has risen to second place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals, an updated version of which was published on Monday on the organization's website. 

Before that, the Russian tennis player occupies the third line.

The Spaniard Carlos Alcatraz again took the lead, rising from the second line. Serbian Novak Djokovic, who led the ranking, dropped to third place.

Kasper Ruud (Norway) and Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece) continue to be in fourth and fifth places. Dane Holger Rune rose from seventh to sixth place, Russian Andrey Rublev dropped from sixth to seventh.

Places from eighth to tenth are still occupied by Yannick Cenner (Italy), Taylor Fritz (USA), Felix Already-Al yassim (Canada).

On May 21, Medvedev became the winner of the Masters tournament in Rome.
