According to the agency, in the Moscow City Court, a representative of the injured party filed a lawsuit against Vadim Moshkovich, the founder of the holding, as his actions led to damage to Syngenta in the amount of the claim. At the same time, Moshkovich did not take any actions aimed at paying off the damage.
Vadim Moshkovich is the founder and beneficiary of the Rusagro agricultural holding, the founder of the development company Level Group, he was also a member of the Federation Council (2006-2014), is one of the richest businessmen in Russia with a fortune, according to Forbes, 2.7 billion dollars.
Before that, new details became known in the case of the founder of the agricultural holding. So, Moshkovich and his former CEO Maxim Basov convinced the founder of the holding, Vladislav Burov, to sell them 85 percent of the shares in exchange for investments. The promised investments did not follow, and the damage amounted to more than 30 billion rubles.
Earlier it was reported that the court rejected the complaint against the arrest of the founder of Rusagro Moshkovich and left him in jail.
