On the afternoon of May 29, at the CHPP-3 of the Norilsk-Taimyr Energy Company (part of Norilsk Nickel), the tank with diesel fuel was depressurized. A car drove into the spill site, a fire occurred. It did not affect the operation of the station, but because of the subsidence of the concrete site and the destruction of the tank, they spilled 180 thousand square meters. more than 21 thousand cubic meters of oil products fell into the ground and into water bodies.
