OREANDA-NEWS  According to the results of 2025, Russia entered the top five countries with the fastest growing number of dollar millionaires - the figure increased by 5.2% over the year, according to the Global Wealth Report 2026 report by Swiss bank UBS, which was reviewed by RIA Novosti.

"The number of dollar millionaires in the world has been growing for many years, and 2025 was no exception: according to our estimates, the global number of millionaires increased by 1.5%. At first glance, this may seem like a small increase, but in absolute terms it means that in 2025 there were almost a million new dollar millionaires - more than 2,680 people a day," the materials say.

The highest growth rates in the number of dollar millionaires were observed in Lithuania, where their number increased by 8% compared to the previous year. It is followed by Turkey (an increase of 6.4%), Latvia (by 5.7%) and Hungary (by 5.3%). Russia, along with Ireland, is in fifth place - according to UBS, the number of dollar millionaires increased by 5.2% in each of these countries over the year.
