Russians began to spend more on holidays abroad

OREANDA-NEWS Russian tourists began to spend more on foreign vacations in the summer — the average check increased by 13 percent, amounting to 194,000 rubles.
Analysts found that Turkey accounted for 47 percent of all foreign bookings for the summer. As a rule, Russians spend up to 229 thousand rubles there. Egypt took 29 percent of the market with a check of 192 thousand rubles, and Vietnam — 9 percent with a check of 219 thousand rubles.
Only 7 percent of travelers chose Thailand for their summer vacation, with an average cost of 165 thousand rubles. China accounted for 3 percent of bookings, and tours cost Russians 198,000 rubles.
Despite the increased interest in the Maldives (plus 306 percent of the demand), the number of bookings for the summer was only a percentage. A vacation there will cost an average of 420 thousand rubles. Indonesia's share was 0.6 percent with a check of 308 thousand rubles.
Earlier, Russians talked about their dream vacation. Thus, the majority of Russians (39 percent) called an ideal vacation in a villa with a professional chef, a large swimming pool and a private beach.
