OREANDA-NEWS  Shares of MegaFon after the start of trading on the Moscow exchange lost 15.88%. They fell by 107 rubles. Now it is om the mark of 567 rubles.

The day before, August 29, the company announced that Sergey Soldatenkov - the Chairman of the Board - and Vermesan  -the General Director of "MegaFon" and Executive Director chief Vermesan - sold their shares. Soldatenkov sold 255 500 GDR. It is 0.0412% in the authorized capital of "MegaFon". Vermishyan sold 6000 ordinary shares. It is 0,097% in the authorized capital of the company.

On the same day, Standard & Poors -  the international rating agency - lowered the rating of MegaFon from BBB - to BB+ with a stable forecast.

In mid-August, Soldatenkov said that at the beginning of next year he ends the contract with MegaFon. "In September-October, we will discuss the issue of the successor with the shareholders. I think this is the right and responsible approach in terms of business development," he reported.

Information about the departure of Soldatenkov from the post of General Director appeared in September 2017. His friend said that Soldatenkov was invited to correct the situation with financial results after the departure of Ivan Tavrin. Ivan Tavrin was General Director from 2012 to 2016. So, it became obvious that Soldatenkov could not solve this problem.

There are some information that Vermishyan is one of the most likely successors of Soldatenkov. Another most likely successor was the commercial Director of the operator  - Vlad Wolfson.

The press-center of Moscow exchange reported that the shares of "MegaFon" from August 30 excluded from the lists.

At the end of July, the holding "MegaFon" announced the transfer of the main assets of the USM group, owned by the Cyprus holding company USM Holdings Limited, to Russian jurisdiction. It was a step of the completion of the deoffshorization process. Documents on the transfer of 56.32% of MegaFon to the Russian structure of USM holding company LLC (49% of which is owned by Usmanov) have already been signed.
