The Bank of Russia has launched a campaign to exchange small change for paper money

OREANDA-NEWS The Bank of Russia on Monday, May 20, launched the "Coin Week" campaign, within which, until June 2, it will be possible to exchange small change for paper money or transfer the amount to your account without commission, the regulator reports.
"The Coin Week campaign starts on May 20. Until June 2, it will be possible to bring small change to the bank and exchange it for paper money or transfer the amount to your account without commission," the message says.
The campaign will be held all over the country. About four thousand divisions of 146 banks will take part in it. Detailed information about the terms and addresses of the participating banks is available on the Coin Week website.RF.
For the first time, such an all-Russian action was held in 2023. As a result, more than 20 million coins worth almost 83 million rubles were collected. The weight of the collected change was 87 tons.
