OREANDA-NEWS  Igor Yushkov, an expert of the National Energy Security Fund, told  when fuel prices could rise in Russia.

On this July 1, reports RIA Novosti.

According to him, the containment of prices at gas stations in Russia will continue even after the end of the agreement on the stabilization of the fuel market. Therefore, the price of gasoline will increase no earlier than September.

"Despite the fact that the agreement is not officially extended, I think that the oral" gentleman's "agreement with the oil industry with the government remains," he said.

The expert also shared the opinion that in exchange for such concessions the government will increase payments to oil companies for a damping premium.

But if by September oilmen will report a shortage of funds and ask to increase the premium, then the Finance Ministry may already intervene in this matter. After that, entrepreneurs from the oil industry will want to increase the amount of under-received finances by increasing fuel prices, Yushkov believes.
